Terms of Engagement

The framework
of a private mandate.

These terms describe the basis on which DLC Private Office publishes information at dlcprivateoffice.com and engages with clients and prospective clients worldwide.

Our Practice

DLC Private Office operates primarily as an independent luxury automotive brokerage. We source, facilitate and broker vehicle transactions worldwide on behalf of private collectors, entrepreneurs, family offices and other discerning clients. We are not a dealer principal, not a franchised retailer and, unless expressly stated in writing, not affiliated with any vehicle manufacturer.

Scope of Website Information

The information published on dlcprivateoffice.com is provided in good faith for the general information of visitors. It is editorial in nature and is not intended as an offer to sell, an invitation to treat or a representation of stock available for immediate purchase.

Nothing on this website constitutes a legally binding offer, a warranty as to condition or provenance, or an assurance of availability at any particular price.

Vehicle Availability

The private register maintained by DLC Private Office is dynamic. Automobiles referenced on the website — whether by name, image or general description — may be sold, withdrawn, subject to prior negotiation or otherwise unavailable at any time and without notice.

Specifications, Mileage, Options and Pricing

Vehicle specifications, mileage, factory options, colour, upholstery, history and indicative pricing are shared for orientation only. All such details should be independently confirmed by the prospective purchaser or their appointed inspector prior to any commitment.

Currency conversions, taxes, duties, transport and registration costs are not included in any indicative figure unless explicitly stated in written correspondence from the private office.

Reservations and Commitments

No automobile is considered reserved, allocated or held for a prospective purchaser unless and until such reservation is confirmed in writing by a founder of DLC Private Office. Verbal indications, email exchanges of interest and preliminary discussions do not, in themselves, create a reservation.

Deposits, Purchases and Written Agreements

Deposits, purchase commitments and sale mandates are governed by separate written agreements executed between DLC Private Office (or the vendor, as applicable) and the client. Those agreements — and not the content of this website — set out the binding commercial terms of any transaction, including payment, escrow arrangements, inspection windows, transport and transfer of title.

Right to Decline

We reserve the right, at our absolute discretion, to decline any enquiry, to decline to act on a mandate, to decline to introduce a counterparty and to terminate a mandate where we consider it appropriate to do so, including for reasons of confidentiality, suitability, sanctions compliance or anti-money-laundering standards.

Nature of Website Content

Website content is not a contractual offer. It is not, and is not intended to be, financial, tax, legal or investment advice. Prospective purchasers and vendors should obtain independent professional advice appropriate to their circumstances before entering into any transaction.

Good Faith and Changes

Information is prepared and maintained in good faith. Details, imagery, descriptions and editorial commentary may be added, updated or removed at any time without notice. We do not warrant that the website will be free of errors, uninterrupted or continuously available.

Use of the Website

Users agree to use the website lawfully and in a manner consistent with its private, editorial character. Automated harvesting of content, impersonation, misuse of the private enquiry form and any activity intended to interfere with the operation or security of the website are prohibited.

Governing Law

These terms, and any engagement with DLC Private Office arising from the website, are governed by the laws of the United Arab Emirates, without prejudice to the mandatory consumer protections of any jurisdiction in which a client is resident. Any dispute shall, in the first instance, be addressed through direct correspondence with the private office.
